First of all: This is Not what I imagined
The Beginning
Growing up in Pretoria, South Africa as the child of Nigerian parents I always had a lot of feelings about who I was and where I belonged. This ultimately lead me to my art form: poetry.
The Journey
Immigrating to Calgary, Alberta, I found myself more lost than I had ever been and in the end, poetry was what saved me. I realised I could be anything I needed to be or myself
The Dream.
Just like me, you may not be able to even imagine how far your art can take you.
